What information this website collects, why it is used, what stays in your browser and the choices you have.
This page explains, in plain language, how the Duc Toan Binh Dinh website handles information when you browse products, open catalogs, use the 3D viewer, choose a language or create a customer account. It describes the features that are actually available on the website today.
It supplements the Terms and Privacy page. It does not replace a separately agreed contract, and it does not describe offline business activities such as production, logistics or accounting.

Information you provide
Customer account
Creating a customer account requires a name, an email address and a password of at least eight characters. The email address is saved in lower case so that you can sign in regardless of capitalisation. The password is converted into a one-way scrypt hash before it is stored; the website cannot read your password back and staff cannot send it to you.
Passwords for protected resources
Some products, 3D models and catalogs are shared only with selected partners and require a password provided separately. The password is sent in a form, checked on the server and never placed in the page address. If it is correct, the website sets a signed cookie that lets this browser view the resource for a limited time.
Enquiries and correspondence
The website does not include an online order form. When you contact Duc Toan by email or telephone using the details on the contact page, the information you choose to send, such as product references, quantities, drawings or company details, is handled as business correspondence for your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
When a page with real content is delivered, such as a product, collection, catalog or article, the server records a page view. A page that only shows a password form, a not-found page or a redirect is not counted.
A page-view record contains:
- the page or product that was opened and the time of the visit;
- a device category, such as desktop or mobile;
- a language and region hint taken from your browser settings;
- a visitor identifier calculated from the connection address with a secret key, so repeat views can be grouped without keeping the raw IP address in this table.
This information is used for aggregate reports, for example which collections are viewed most often or which languages visitors prefer. Separately, the web server, hosting provider and network services may keep technical logs that include connection details; these logs are used to operate and protect the service.
Information kept in your browser
Your confirmed language, the products you recently viewed and your sign-in or unlock sessions are kept with cookies and local storage on your device. The recently viewed list contains up to 12 product IDs and is not synchronised with your customer account or sent to other visitors. The Cookies and Local Storage page lists every item, its purpose and how long it lasts.
Automatic translation of page content
The website is available in seven languages. Most texts are translated in advance. When a selected language still lacks a translation, the server may send the displayed page text, such as a product description or article paragraph, to an automatic translation service and save the result for later visitors.
Only page content is translated. Your browser does not connect directly to the translation service, and passwords, account details and cookies are not part of these requests. Content that you are not allowed to view is never sent for translation on your behalf.
How information is used
- to show pages in your language and remember that choice;
- to let you sign in, stay signed in and sign out;
- to grant access to protected products and catalogs after the correct password is entered;
- to show your recently viewed products on this device;
- to produce aggregate statistics that help improve the catalog and website;
- to detect misuse and apply temporary access restrictions where necessary.
Your choices
- Change the display language at any time with the language buttons in the footer.
- Remove the recently viewed list with Clear history in that section.
- Delete this website's cookies and storage in your browser settings; you will be signed out and asked for your language again.
- Contact us to ask about the account information we hold or to request its review or removal.
Never include your password in an email. Duc Toan will not ask you to send it.
No third-party services in your browser
Every image, font, script, catalog page and 3D model on this website is delivered from the website itself. When you open a page, your browser does not contact advertising networks, social media platforms, external font services or analytics providers. The website's security policy blocks content from other origins and prevents other websites from embedding these pages in a frame.
Links to external websites, if any appear in an article, are ordinary links: nothing is sent to that website until you click it, and its own privacy practices then apply.
Who can see your information
Account details and page-view statistics are stored in the website database operated for Duc Toan Binh Dinh. Authorised Duc Toan administrators can see them through the protected management area, which requires its own password and is separate from customer accounts. Hosting and network providers process data only as needed to run and protect the service.
Other visitors never see your account, your language choice or your browsing history. Statistics are viewed as totals, for example the number of views of a collection, not as a record of what one named person looked at.
How long information is kept
- Cookies expire automatically after the periods listed on the Cookies and Local Storage page.
- Items in local storage stay on your device until you clear them.
- Customer account details remain in the database while the account exists. There is currently no self-service button to delete an account; ask us and the request will be handled manually.
- Page-view records are kept to compare statistics over time.
- Email and telephone correspondence is kept as part of normal business records for your enquiry.
Making a request about your information
You can ask which account information is stored, ask for a correction or ask for your account to be removed. To help us find the right record, write from the email address used for the account and describe the request clearly. We may reply to that address to confirm the request before acting on it, so that nobody else can change or remove your account.
The website does not offer a self-service password reset. If you forget your password, contact us from the account email address.

Updates to this page
When website features change, this page is revised so that it continues to describe what the website actually does. If a description here differs from a signed agreement between you and Duc Toan, the agreement applies.
