Cookies and Local Storage
Every cookie and browser storage item used by this website, why it exists, how long it lasts and how to remove it.
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website asks your browser to keep and send back with later requests. Local storage is a similar space inside the browser that only scripts from the same website can read. This website uses both for a small number of functional purposes and does not use them for advertising.
Cookies used by this website
Not every visitor receives every cookie. Most are only set after you take an action such as choosing a language, signing in or unlocking a resource.
- web_ngon_ngu: remembers the display language you confirmed. Lasts up to 365 days.
- web_customer: keeps you signed in to your customer account. Lasts up to 72 hours, or until you sign out.
- web_mo_khoa: records which protected products or catalogs this browser has unlocked. Lasts up to 72 hours.
- web_nguoi_xem: a random signed visitor identifier used for temporary access restrictions. Lasts up to 30 days.
- web_admin: keeps website administrators signed in to the management area. Lasts up to 30 days and is not set for ordinary visitors.
- web_ban_dung: used during website maintenance to preview a new build. Lasts up to 30 days and is only set when that preview is requested.
How cookies are protected
Every cookie from this website is marked HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it, and SameSite=Strict, so the browser does not send it when another website links or posts to this one. Values that grant access are signed with a secret key; a modified cookie is rejected. When the website is served over a secure connection, cookies can also be restricted to encrypted connections.
Cookies never contain your password. Account and unlock cookies only hold a signed reference with an expiry time.
What local storage contains
- duc_toan_ngon_ngu: the language you chose, so every open tab can use the same language.
- duc_toan_san_pham_da_xem: up to 12 product IDs you recently opened, newest first.
These entries stay on your device. They contain identifiers, not product photos, catalog pages or passwords, and they do not expire automatically; you can clear them whenever you wish. Translations are not cached in local storage.
What this website does not use
There are no advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Page statistics are counted on the server, as described on the Website Privacy page. Because of this, the website does not show a cookie consent banner for marketing purposes.
When each item is created
- Opening a public page gives the browser web_nguoi_xem, a random signed value that contains no name, email or other personal details.
- Confirming a language, either in that question or with the footer buttons, creates web_ngon_ngu and duc_toan_ngon_ngu.
- Opening a product page adds its ID to duc_toan_san_pham_da_xem.
- Signing up or signing in creates web_customer; signing out removes it.
- Entering the correct password for a protected product or catalog creates or updates web_mo_khoa.
- Nothing else is created just by reading pages, opening catalogs or using the 3D viewer.
First-party only
All cookies listed here are set by this website for this website. Because pages do not load content from other services, no other company can set or read cookies through these pages. The cookie names are technical identifiers; several are in Vietnamese because the website was built by the Duc Toan team in Vietnam.
Private browsing and shared devices
In a private or incognito window, cookies and local storage are discarded when the window is closed. The website still works, but you will be asked for your language each time and will need to sign in or unlock resources again.
On a shared computer, sign out when you finish and clear the recently viewed list if you do not want the next person to see which products you opened. Unlocked resources remain viewable on that browser until the unlock period ends, so clear the site data if you entered a partner password on a computer that others use.
How to clear or block storage
- Recently viewed: use Clear history in the Recently viewed section of a product page.
- Customer session: sign out from your account.
- Everything: open your browser's privacy or site settings and remove the data stored for this website.
Removing cookies signs you out, resets the language question and means protected resources must be unlocked again. If your browser blocks cookies or storage entirely, ordinary pages remain readable, but sign-in, language memory and unlocking may not work as expected.
Clearing data in common browsers
Menu names change between versions, but the path is similar in most browsers:
- Chrome and Edge: click the icon to the left of the address, open the site settings or cookies and site data, then delete the data for this website.
- Firefox: click the padlock in the address bar and choose to clear cookies and site data.
- Safari on Mac: open Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data, search for this website and remove it.
- Safari on iPhone and iPad: open the Settings app, Safari, Advanced, Website Data, then remove this website.
Clearing data for this website only does not affect your other websites. After clearing, reload the page; the language question will appear again.
